BOURNE — Superintendent Kerri Anne Quinlan-Zhou is pleased to share that Bourne Public Schools will host its second annual resource fair, sponsored by the Bourne Public Schools Building Bridges Family Engagement Program.
WHEN:
Wednesday, Sept. 27 from 6-7:30 p.m.
WHERE:
Bourne High School, 75 Waterhouse Road
WHAT:
The second annual resource fair will provide Bourne Public Schools families and Bourne residents with access to a variety of vital information and resources.
“Building Bridges,” led by Bourne Public Schools PreK-5 Curriculum Director Lisa Dix, will connect stakeholders — including students and their families — to important services available to them. Community organizations and groups will share their vital knowledge and services that will benefit students and families.
Resources available at the fair will include youth and family recreation, assistance with nutrition, housing and clothing, wellness and mental health services, safety, education and more.
Any community resource organization or group that would like to participate in the fair is asked to contact Dix at ldix@bourneps.org. The district will respond with additional details.
Any organization located within Bourne, or those that are utilized by Bourne residents, are welcome to attend.
“The Resource Fair was a huge success last year with over 45 organizations represented and over 100 people in attendance,” said Dix. “We are hoping to get even bigger this year!”
