Kearsarge Regional School District Welcomes Lisa Scolaro as Sutton Central Principal

NEW LONDON – Superintendent Winfried Feneberg is pleased to share that Lisa Scolaro has been named Principal of Sutton Central School.

NEW LONDON – Superintendent Winfried Feneberg is pleased to share that Lisa Scolaro has been named Principal of Sutton Central School.

Scolaro comes to the school from the Lebanon School District, where she served as Director of Equity, Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment for four years. In that role she drove planning of curriculum, instruction, data analysis, assessment, and professional learning. She also designed processes to align the Lebanon district’s curriculum and assessment to national standards.

“I am excited to join the Kearsarge district and look forward to the start of the school year,” Scolaro said. “I look forward to building relationships with our Sutton Central community, and working collaboratively with my colleagues to help each student reach their potential and find success.”

Scolaro previously served as a Science Curriculum Coordinator and Acting Director of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math in the Cambridge (Mass.) Public Schools.

She also has worked as a classroom teacher in the Oyster River Cooperative School District and Dover School District.

Scolaro holds a Bachelor degree in Animal Science and a Master’s degree in Secondary Education, both from the University of New Hampshire. She also holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Plymouth State University, and is working toward her doctorate in Educational Leadership at Southern New Hampshire University.
