Hampton Academy Students Perform “Murder on the 518”

Superintendent Lois Costa is pleased to share that Hampton Academy students performed the award-winning murder mystery “Murder on the 518” in March.

HAMPTON — Superintendent Lois Costa is pleased to share that Hampton Academy students performed the award-winning murder mystery “Murder on the 518” in March.

The cast performed “Murder on the 518” from Thursday, March 16 through Saturday, March 18 at the Academy Auditorium. The play was directed by ELA teacher Judith Clark.

“Murder on the 518” is a family-friendly murder mystery that follows travelers on the westbound 518 train. When two passengers mysteriously drop dead, everyone in the dining car becomes a suspect. The eccentric passengers — including two newlyweds, an astronomy professor, a sports recruiter, a CEO, a movie star, an aspiring musician, and others — try to work together with the waitstaff to find the murderer before they reach their destination and the killer escapes for good. 

Students that appeared in the play were Harper Babyak, Madison Bowley, Evie Cyr, Stella Finnegan, Peter Furtado, Avya Green, Nathan Goupil, Lola Grote, Chase Grugnale, Ary Hernandez, Paul Higgins, Viktor Kulberg, Zavier LaPierre, Abby McQuilken, Meghan Nadeau, Reese Nolan, Katie-Rose Piques, Ryan Rosberg, and Rheya Ryan.

“Our students at Hampton Academy are talented young performers,” said Superintendent Costa. “‘Murder on the 518’ was an entertaining show for people of all ages. Congratulations to all of our students who put on this wonderful production!”
