Kennedy Middle School Begins After-School Activities Program

Principal Carl Nelson is pleased to announce that Kennedy Middle School has started an after-school program for students.

WOBURN – Principal Carl Nelson is pleased to announce that Kennedy Middle School has started an after-school program for students.

The after-school program began on Tuesday, Feb. 28, and is available to all Kennedy Middle School students. The program offers a variety of activities including cooking, chess, bracelet-making, guitar/ukelele lessons, robotics, and soccer.

Teachers and students developed the programs based on their personal interests, and students had the opportunity to sign up online to take part. Approximately 75 students have joined the various groups. The groups will meet regularly for a total of six weeks.

“It’s great to see our teachers and students working together to pursue their common interests, and students have really enjoyed the work they’ve done with their respective groups so far,” Principal Nelson said.
