GORHAM – Superintendent David Backler and the Ed Fenn Elementary School are pleased to announce celebrated the 100th day of school this week.

Monday, Feb. 13, marked the 100th day of school for the 2022-2023 school year at Ed Fenn Elementary. This day also marked the 1,000th day of elementary school for fifth graders.

Ed Fenn students celebrated 100 days of learning and fun in their individual classrooms, with a variety of activities that included counting to 100 in different ways and sledding.

Fifth graders celebrated their 1,000th day of elementary school by making a video highlighting their favorite parts of their time at Ed Fenn, often talking about places they visited, things they learned, and friends they made along the way. Fifth graders also took part in a 1000th day of elementary school scavenger hunt.

Fifth graders are preparing for the next milestone in their school careers, which will come when they start middle school in the fall.

“I want to congratulate all our elementary students for completing their 100th day of school and recognize our fifth graders who have been a part of Ed Fenn since kindergarten,” said Principal Tina Binette. “It is an exciting time for students, and I want to wish them the best of luck as they get closer to the end of another great school year.”
