Dighton Parks and Recreation Commission To Host Community Easter Egg Hunt

DIGHTON — Dighton Parks and Recreation Commission Chairman Kevin Smith is pleased to invite community members to attend an upcoming community Easter egg hunt.

DIGHTON — Dighton Parks and Recreation Commission Chairman Kevin Smith is pleased to invite community members to attend an upcoming community Easter egg hunt.

WHEN:

Saturday, April 9 beginning at noon

WHERE:

Spratt Memorial Field, 979 Somerset Ave.

WHAT:

Local families are encouraged to attend the Dighton Parks and Recreation Commission’s upcoming egg-stravaganza next weekend. As part of the event, thousands of colorful Easter eggs will be hidden throughout Spratt Memorial Field for children of all ages to collect. 

Parents are asked to provide a basket, bag or other means for children to collect the eggs.

Children in attendance will also get a special visit from a costumed bunny character and can pose for pictures.

“We look forward to this exciting opportunity for community members to come together and participate in a decades-old tradition for the first time with the Town of Dighton,” Smith said.
