ROCHESTER — Principal Mark Campbell is pleased to report that students in need received Christmas gifts this holiday season through the Chamberlain Street School’s giving tree initiative.

The school’s giving tree was decorated with ornaments containing the gift wishes of students who are less fortunate, in order to assure that they received a meaningful gift for the holidays. Numerous staff members and Chamberlain Street School families took the ornaments and returned with the gifts.

In all, 40 families in need received gifts during the holiday season as a result of the giving tree effort.

“I am in awe of the incredible kindness and generosity of our wonderful school community,” Principal Campbell said. “The parents, staff and other adults in the community are always so willing to step up and help out others and it just warms my heart and makes me so proud that I work at such a phenomenal place.”
