NEW LONDON — Superintendent Winfried Feneberg reports that a James House Preschool bus was involved in a motor vehicle crash on Thursday morning.

Preschool Bus No. 77 was carrying one preschool student at 8:20 a.m. when the bus was struck on the passenger door side by a passenger car that was turning right as the car exited a parking area on Main Street in New London.

The driver remained at the scene, and police and fire officials responded promptly.

No one was injured. The student was evaluated by emergency medical technicians and was able to return on their way to school.
