SAU 16 Implements Reporting System for Anonymous Tips

EXETER — Richard Kane, Coordinator of School Safety and Security at SAU 16, announces that the district has implemented a new anonymous reporting system to give students, faculty and community members the opportunity to report unsafe behavior.

The “see something, say something” tip line allows users to email any safety concerns they have within the SAU 16 community. This includes, but is not limited to, incidents relating to drugs/alcohol, sexual harassment, suicide, weapons, violence and threats.

To submit a report, visit the Quick Tip Hotline online here. Those filling out the form can put their contact info, or can choose to leave that section blank and remain anonymous.

“We want students, parents, faculty and community members to have a place where they can feel safe and comfortable sharing their concerns with the school department,” Kane said. “Our goal with this system is to be able to address any potential issues early and maintain the district’s safe learning and working environment.”
