Rockland High School Announces New “Top Dog” Club

ROCKLAND — Principal John Harrison is pleased to announce that Rockland High School has begun a new “Top Dog Club” to recognize seniors who have gone above and beyond as students.

Each Friday, RHS staff will select two seniors who have exemplified the school’s core values of achievement, perseverance, character and collaboration by making a positive impact on the Rockland community.

So far, this year’s Top Dog award recipients are:

  • Eden Dalton
  • Aiden Glennon
  • Sydney McKenna
  • Ronan McNally
  • Hannah Murphy
  • Chris Penney

Students who are named as a Top Dog will receive a long-sleeve shirt bearing this year’s theme of “Work Hard, Be Proud, and Lead the Pack,” as well as a sports pass to attend school sporting events at no cost for the entire school year. Additionally, certificates for the Top Dogs of the week will be posted outside the school cafeteria for students and staff to see.

“This program is a great way to congratulate those students who have gone above and beyond during their time at Rockland High School, and we hope the recognition will encourage younger students to go the extra mile as they make their way through RHS,” said Principal Harrison. “I am so proud of the students who have been named Top Dogs so far this year, and look forward to watching this club continue to grow!”
