Whitman Fire Department to Host Open House

WHITMAN — Chief Timothy J. Grenno is pleased to announce that the Whitman Fire Department is hosting its annual open house next month.

WHEN

Monday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

WHERE

Whitman Fire Department, 56 Temple St.

WHAT

Residents are invited to join the Whitman Fire Department for their annual open house and mingle with firefighters in a relaxed atmosphere.

All of the fire trucks (unless on a call) will be out and on display for visitors to go on and explore. Firefighters will be available to put on demonstrations, answer questions and provide tours of the fire station.

Attendees can also learn about fire safety and enjoy free pizza from Papa Gino’s for lunch.

“This is always such a great event for us to be able to interact with the community in a fun and relaxing setting,” Chief Grenno said. “We invite everyone to stop by and say hello!”
