Body of Man Discovered Near Arlington/Cambridge Line

ARLINGTON — Chief Frederick Ryan regrets to report that after an exhaustive search by Arlington Police, Cambridge Police, Massachusetts State Police and NEMLEC search and rescue teams, a body tentatively identified as Patrick Beagan, age 45, previously reported missing out of Arlington, was discovered this morning near the Arlington/Cambridge line.

The death does not appear to be suspicious at this time, and there is no reason to believe the public is in any danger.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will make positive identification and Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan’s Office is leading the follow-up investigation.

The media is asked to respect the privacy of the Beagan family during this difficult time.
