Littleton Police Respond to Fatal Accident Involving Bicycle

LITTLETON – Chief Matthew J. King reports that the Littleton Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a bicycle last night.

At approximately 10 p.m., Littleton Police responded to a report of a bicyclist struck in the area of 185 Great Road. Upon arrival, officers found the bicyclist, a 54-year-old Littleton woman, seriously injured. She was transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington, where she later died from her injuries.

Accident reconstruction is being conducted by members of the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council’s (CEMLEC) Accident Investigation Team.

All further inquiries should be referred to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
