Maynard Fire Department and Council on Aging to Offer Senior Health Expo

MAYNARD — Chief Anthony Stowers is pleased to announce that the Maynard Fire Department and the Maynard Council on Aging will be co-sponsoring a Senior Health and Safety Expo next expo-flyerweek.

WHEN

Saturday, Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

10 a.m. CPR and Choking presentation
11 a.m. “Everything You Need to Know About Scams and More!” presentation
12 p.m. Emergency Preparedness
1 p.m. Maynard Police Presentation

WHAT

At the Maynard Senior Health and Safety Expo, seniors can learn more about topics such as volunteer home safety visits, emergency management, medication management and collection services, SHINE (health insurance counseling) and brain healthy nutrition.

Pulmonary and bone density screenings as well as blood pressure and blood sugar tests will be available to seniors who attend the expo.
