GEORGETOWN — Fire Chief Fred A. Mitchell and Police Chief Donald C. Cudmore announce that the Georgetown Fire and Police Departments will host an observance ceremony next week to honor the lives of those lost in the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.

WHERE

Georgetown Public Safety Building, 47 Central St.

WHEN

Sunday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m.

WHO

The Georgetown Fire and Police Departments and their clergy.

WHAT

Residents are invited to attend the Georgetown Fire and Police Departments’ Sept. 11 Observance Ceremony to honor all the lives that were lost on that day.

The departments’ priests will deliver prayers and moment of silence will be observed.

This event is free and open to the public.
