Woburn Police Investigate Stabbing

WOBURN — Chief Robert Ferullo reports that the Woburn Police Department responded Friday morning to a reported disturbance that left two men with stab wounds. A suspect was quickly identified and is being questioned at this time.

Woburn Police responded outside on Webster Avenue shortly before 10 a.m. after receiving multiple 911 calls. Upon arrival, officers found two men, each suffering from a stab wound. They were taken to an area hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

A police investigation quickly identified a suspect, who is currently being questioned by the Woburn Police Department.

Police believe that all parties are known to each other.

“We do not believe that there is any danger to the public,” Chief Ferullo said. “The individuals were known to each other, and our officers worked very quickly to identify the suspect.”

The incident is under investigation by the Woburn Police Department. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
