The Stoneham Police Department is seeking information on a man involved in a Bank of America robbery on Monday. An image of the suspect was provided from the bank’s surveillance camera.

STONEHAM — Police Chief James McIntyre reports that the Stoneham Police Department is looking for a robbery suspect and is asking the public for help in identifying the man in several released surveillance photos.

The Bank of America, located at 323 Main St., was robbed shortly after noon on Monday.

Video surveillance shows the suspect give a female bank teller a handwritten note demanding money. The woman then hands the man an unknown amount of cash before he flees out the front door.

The suspect is described as a white male, with a medium build, in his mid 20s to early 30s wearing a light colored, possibly gray V-neck T-shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers and a white baseball cap with a Boston Red Sox “B” logo on it.

If anyone recognizes the man or has any information about the robbery, they are asked to call Stoneham Police at 781-438-1215. All callers may remain anonymous.
