CHELMSFORD — Police Chief James M. Spinney reports that the Chelmsford Police Department is seeking a suspect who robbed the TD Bank on Drum Hill Road early Friday morning.

Police responded shortly after 8 a.m. Friday for the reported robbery. According to staff, the suspect wrote a note on a withdrawal slip and claimed to have a gun. The suspect received a quantity of cash and ran from the bank on foot toward the Lowell city line.

The suspect is described as an Asian male, in his 20s, with a thin build. He was wearing a black “military type” jacket with a breast pocket and blue “scrub type” hospital pants. He was also wearing a black winter hat and white sneakers.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Anyone who may recognize the individual pictured in the surveillance photos, or who may have information on this morning’s robbery is urged to call Chelmsford Police at 978-256-2521. All callers may remain anonymous.
