Roadwork to Begin on King Street in Raynham on Friday, Sept. 6

Work Expected to Last Until Sept. 23

RAYNHAM — Chief James Donovan would like to notify Raynham residents and commuters that a roadwork project will begin on Friday, Sept. 6, and drivers should expect delays and heavier than normal traffic in the area.

King Street will be resurfaced from South Main Street, across Orchard Street, to the Route 24 overpass. Work will be done Monday through Friday. The project is expected to be completed on Sept. 23.

There will be limited access on King Street at times while the work is ongoing. Drivers are asked to avoid the area, if possible.
