HULL — Chief John Dunn reports that the Hull Police Department arrested a man who allegedly exposed himself to two women at Nantasket Beach on Monday.

MICHAEL FITZGERALD, 28, OF QUINCY is charged with Open and Gross Lewdness for a Felony.

Police responded to a report of a man who had allegedly exposed himself on Nantasket Beach at approximately 4:10 p.m. on Monday to two women in the area of Alden Street and Beach Avenue.

Police released a still photo from a video taken of the suspect and given to police as evidence by a witness on the beach. With the public’s assistance and through a subsequent investigation, police were able to identify the suspect as FITZGERALD.

Hull Police requested and were granted a warrant for FITZGERALD’s arrest from the Hingham District Court on Tuesday, and at approximately 3:30 p.m. police located FITZGERALD at his Quincy address and placed him under arrest.

FITZGERALD has since been released on $2,040 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Hingham District Court on Wednesday, Aug. 7.

These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
