Bedford Police Hosting National Night Out Aug. 6

Chief Robert Bongiorno and the Bedford Police Department wish to invite the residents of Bedford and their friends to join us for National Night Out on Aug. 6 from 6-8 p.m., behind the Bedford Police Station at 2 Mudge Way.

National Night Out is an opportunity for the residents and members of their Police Department to meet and mingle in a less formal setting. One of the major goals of this ‘Block Party’ is to strengthen neighborhood spirit and a police-community partnership. By gathering like this we all, together, can heighten crime and drug prevention.

National Night Out also gives neighbors a chance to meet their own neighbors and others from their community. Local Businesses, such as, Ken’s Deli, Steve’s Pizza, Express Pizza, The Learning Center, Short Stop Café, Whole Foods, Urgent Care, Representatives of Hanscom Air Force Base and others will be participating by setting up a table or donating items for your enjoyment.

So please join us for a night of fun, food and games. We look forward to seeing all on Aug. 6.
