Taunton Police Seek to Identify Man Who Robbed Bank Last Week

TAUNTON — Chief Edward Walsh reports that the Taunton Police Department is seeking to identify a man who robbed a bank in Taunton last week.

On Friday, April 5, at approximately 3:25 p.m., a man entered the Santander Bank, 188 Broadway, and passed a teller a handwritten note demanding money.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot toward the direction of downtown Taunton. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The man was described as a white male in his mid-20s, approximately six-feet-tall with a thin build. He was wearing dark blue windbreaker pants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue rubber gloves and large dark sunglasses.
