The artistic talents of senior Brynn Higbie were showcased across the globe as part of the Winsor & Newton Global Postcard Exhibition in London.
Higbie’s Artwork is part of Winsor & Newton’s “Art Mail: The Exhibitions” project, in which artists from all over the world were invited to take part in the gallery by painting a postcard. The gallery serves as a celebration of creativity, connection and community through the simple act of painting and sending a postcard.
Her artwork is one of 8,000 postcards from artists in more than 80 countries that will be featured in one of two exhibition locations in New York and London. Higbie’s postcard was displayed at the prestigious Saatchi Gallery at the Duke of York’s HQ on King’s Road in London from Oct. 1-11.

Following the exhibitions, each postcard is being auctioned off in support of Hospital Rooms, a UK charity that brings artist-designed, therapeutic environments to mental health wards.
“On behalf of the entire Mascoma Valley Regional School District, I would like to congratulate Brynn on this wonderful achievement,” said Superintendent Amanda Isabelle. “For a young artist to have their artwork featured globally alongside artists from around the world is an incredible opportunity for exposure. We are proud to have an arts program that encourages students to pursue these opportunities while empowering them to express themselves creatively.”
