WAYLAND — The Wayland Fire and Police Departments responded Friday afternoon to a crash involving two vehicles on Old Connecticut Path.
On Friday, Sept. 18, at 12:38 p.m., the Wayland Fire and Police Departments were dispatched to Old Connecticut Path. Upon arrival, first responders observed a sedan and a truck with a roll-off container involved in the crash.
The occupant of the sedan was transported by Wayland ambulance to the landing zone at the Cochituate Ball Field and taken by Boston medical helicopter to Boston Medical Center. Their injuries are believed to be serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported at the scene. Old Connecticut Path remains closed at this time.
The Wayland Police Department is currently investigating the cause of the crash with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police.
