CONCORD — The Concord Police and Fire Departments responded to a significant two-vehicle crash on Walden Street that injured five people, including three who were taken to regional trauma centers.
On Saturday, July 25, at approximately 1 p.m., Concord Police and Fire were called to Walden Street at Bristers Hill Road for a report of a multi-vehicle crash.
First responders arrived to find a two-vehicle crash, with five people suffering from injuries.
Firefighters and police triaged the injured on scene. Two people were transported by ambulance to local hospitals, two were transported by Boston MedFlight to regional trauma centers, and one was transported by ambulance to a regional trauma center.
Mutual aid ambulances from Lexington, Sudbury, Acton and Pro-EMS provided support, as did Boston MedFlight. Lincoln Police also provided support at the scene.
An ongoing investigation into the crash remains ongoing by Concord Police, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section (CARS).
