Hudson Police and Law Enforcement Partners Investigating Fatal Crash Involving a Pedestrian

HUDSON — Chief Richard DiPersio reports that the Hudson Police Department and law enforcement partners are actively investigating a fatal crash that occurred over the weekend. 

On Saturday, June 6, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Hudson Police responded to the area of 79 Main Street for reports that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. 

Upon arrival, first responders located an 85-year-old man who was suffering from injuries consistent with a crash. The man was transported to an area hospital. 

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene. 

On Monday, June 8, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner notified Hudson Police that the 85-year-old was later pronounced dead at the hospital. He has been identified as James Calf, of Hudson.

The crash remains under investigation by Hudson Police, the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section (CARS), and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
