CONCORD — Superintendent Dr. Laurie Hunter is pleased to announce that Concord Public Schools and the Concord-Carlisle Regional School District have launched an official news blog to serve as a hub for the latest information and updates on news pertaining to schools.
The blog, concordcarlislenews.org, features official news about both districts. Parents and community members may subscribe to the blog and receive email notifications of new posts by signing up at the bottom of the homepage.
“One of our goals is to improve communication with the broader school community,” said Superintendent Dr. Hunter. “This new online news blog is one way we are working to meet that goal.”
The blog includes:
- News from the districts and all of their schools
- A school calendar with important dates and events
- An Instagram widget featuring posts from the feed of Superintendent Dr. Hunter
- Links to the main district website
Visitors to concordcarlislenews.org will find a clean, user-friendly and mobile-responsive layout, which allows for easy navigation. It can be accessed on computers, cellphones and tablets.
