WHITMAN — The Whitman Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 57-year-old male.
JOHN MADDEN, age 57, was reported missing after walking away from a group home on Park Avenue around 3:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 29.
MADDEN was spotted on surveillance footage near Town Hall around 4:30 p.m. He was reported missing around 7:55 p.m. Around 8 p.m., he was once again captured on surveillance footage in the same area.
Whitman Police are seeking the public’s help to locate Madden.
MADDEN was last seen wearing dark clothing, and a shirt with the words “Jimmy G. Containers.”
MADDEN is 5-foot-9-inches tall, about 180 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown/blackish shoulder-length hair.
Whitman Police believe there is concern for MADDEN’s well-being. He has several ongoing health issues.
If anyone sees MADDEN or knows where he may be, they are asked to contact the Whitman Police Department immediately at 781-447-1212 or call 911.
