MANSFIELD — Superintendent Teresa Murphy and Principal Russ Booth are pleased to announce the valedictorian and salutatorian of the Mansfield High School Class of 2025.

The valedictorian for the graduating class is Sierra Wojick and the salutatorian is Corinne Croak.

Sierra Wojick

During her time at MHS, Wojick has been inducted into both the National Honor Society and the French National Honor Society. In addition, she was the recipient of the Harvard University Book Award her junior year.

Wojick also serves as president of the MHS chapter of Active Minds, the largest nonprofit in the United States focused on mobilizing youth and young adults to reduce the stigma regarding mental health awareness.

On top of that, Wojick is an active officer in the Student Council, helping to fundraise for various class events, and she’s also an active volunteer at the Mansfield Animal Shelter.

Along with her academics and volunteer service, Wojick is an avid runner, competing in cross-country, winter track and spring track. Wojick was captain of both the cross-country and winter track teams.

In the fall, Wojick will attend Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT), where she intends to pursue a major in chemical and biomolecular engineering, with a minor in French. As a Stamps President’s Scholar, Wojick will receive a full-ride merit scholarship, making her one of only 25 out-of-state students in the entire incoming GIT class who has qualified for this prestigious distinction.

Corinne Croak

The salutatorian of the Class of 2025 is Corinne Croak. Corinne has been an incredible student at Mansfield High School and has taken on an extremely tough selection of AP and Honors courses, while also serving her fellow students.

Croak is on the executive board of the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society, serving as secretary and special events coordinator, and she is also a member of the Spanish National Honors Society. During her sophomore year, Croak was selected to represent MHS at the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference.

Croak is an active member of the Spanish Club and Best Buddies. And she is a founding member of the Mending Minds Club at MHS, an organization dedicated to promoting mental health awareness.

Croak is also three-sport athlete, as a member of the soccer team, basketball team, and Unified track team. She was honored for her leadership skills and was named captain of the soccer team for her senior year.

Next fall, Croak will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she will major in data science. We all wish her success at college and in her career.

“We know the education that Sierra and Corinne received at Mansfield High School will serve them well as they continue to accomplish whatever they set their minds to,” said Superintendent Murphy.

The graduation ceremony for the MHS Class of 2025 will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, June 9, at the Xfinity Center, 885 S. Main St., in Mansfield.
