Concord Police and Fire Respond to Crash Involving Three Pedestrians

CONCORD — Police Chief Thomas Mulcahy and Fire Chief Thomas Judge report that the Concord Police and Fire Departments responded to a motor vehicle crash involving three pedestrians.

On Monday, April 28, at approximately 1:40 p.m., Concord Police and Fire were dispatched to the area of Old Marlborough Road by Williams Road for reports that three pedestrians had been struck by a vehicle.

Upon arrival, first responders located all three pedestrians: a grandmother, a mother, and an infant. All three were transported by Concord Fire, with assistance from Pro-EMS paramedics, to two area hospitals with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The driver, a 41-year-old man, remained on scene and is cooperating with police.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Concord Police, and possible charges may be filed.
