NEW LONDON — Superintendent John Fortney and Athletic Director Taylor Lipinski are pleased to share that senior Noah Whipple has been named Kearsarge Regional High School’s (KRHS) student-athlete of the month for April.
Kearsarge student-athletes of the month are seniors who are qualified NHIAA “Scholar Athletes,” accumulating a B+ or equivalent GPA over their time at KRHS and actively participating in two or more sports offerings. These athletes consistently demonstrate commitment to their programs, care for their teammates and peers, and are competing at their highest potential.
Student-athletes are chosen each month through collaborative efforts of the entire athletic team.
Whipple is a dual-sport athlete, participating in varsity basketball and lacrosse.
“Noah is a student-athlete who consistently shows what it means to be a part of the Kearsarge community,” said Lipinski. “Noah has been an individual who is fully committed to being a student athlete at the highest level in multiple sports over his four years. He is a caring multi-sport athlete who looks for every opportunity to support his peers.”
Whipple will be attending New England College in the fall, where he will continue his athletic career on the lacrosse team.
The athletic department would like to thank the Whipple family for their continued contributions to Kearsarge athletics programs.
