WOBURN — Principal Carl Nelson is pleased to share that Kennedy Middle School continued its yearly Giving Tree tradition, which aided over 200 local families in need this holiday season.

For nearly 20 years, Kennedy Middle School has participated in the Giving Tree tradition. Each year, local families fill out a form requesting gifts for their children, which varies from toys, books, art supplies and more. Kennedy students, their families, and staff members then sign up to shop for gifts for those children.

This year, students and staff purchased and wrapped more than 2,500 gifts for over 200 families.

“These gifts will make a tremendous impact on so many families during a time that can be troubling,” said Principal Nelson. “Thank you to the students, families, and staff who continue to give back to the community and make this tradition so meaningful and successful.”
