BEDFORD — Chief John Fisher and the Bedford Police Department would like to invite community members to attend the Department’s free National Night Out event next week.

WHAT:
Bedford Police will be hosting National Night Out to foster community relationships and create an event fun for the whole family.
The event will feature food trucks courtesy of Winniez Mobile Diner, Bedford Cupcakes and Kona Ice, games, music by DJ Dave Beat Boxx, a dunk tank, Trackless Train, touch-a-truck, and K-9 demonstrations from Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office and Veteran Affairs (VA) Police.
During the touch-a-truck, residents and community members will have the opportunity to explore a variety of public safety equipment provided by Bedford Police, Bedford Fire, and Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office.
National Night Out is held annually on the first Tuesday in August. It is a nationwide campaign designed to strengthen the relationship between public safety officials and residents to foster community partnerships and improve neighborhood safety.
This year marks the 41st anniversary of National Night Out.
