WHERE:
Wegmans parking garage, 53 3rd Ave.
WHAT:
Community Safety Night is a free event for adults and children of all ages that allows the community to get to know its public safety personnel in a casual setting.
Hot dogs, as well as other snacks and beverages, will be provided courtesy of Wegmans and 3rd Ave Burlington.
Personnel from the Burlington Fire and Police Departments and the Department of Public Works will be present.
“Community Safety Night is a great opportunity to gather and celebrate all of the wonderful people who make up our community,” said Chief Connerty. “I hope our residents are able to attend. This event has become one of my favorite traditions.”
Attendees will have the chance to get an up-close view of police cruisers, fire trucks, ambulances, and other equipment used by the town’s first responders. There will also be K-9 demonstrations.
“I’d like to thank Wegmans and 3rd Ave Burlington for helping us put on Community Safety Night,” said Chief Browne. “We look forward to connecting with our community members in this fun, family-friendly environment.”
