PETERBOROUGH — Superintendent Kimberly Rizzo Saunders is pleased to announce that Peterborough Elementary School Principal Larry Pimental has been nominated for a 2024 Employment Leadership Award (ELA), presented by the New Hampshire Council on Developmental Disabilities.
The Employment Leadership Award is given to five businesses/organizations that are leading the way in the employment, retainment, and promotion of individuals with disabilities in New Hampshire.
Principal Pimental was nominated by a member of Vocational Rehabilitation New Hampshire for his inclusion of people with mobility challenges in PES staff.
Nominees will meet with members of the Employment Leadership Award Committee for site visits and interviews, from which the finalists will be determined.
The winners will be featured in a full-page article in the September issue of Business NH Magazine and will be recognized at the ELA Awards Ceremony in October.
“Congratulations to Larry on his well-deserved nomination for an Employee Leadership Award,” said Superintendent Rizzo Saunders. “We wish him luck in the next round of interviews!”
