PETERBOROUGH – The ConVal School District announces that Larry Pimental will assume the role of Director of Athletics and Co-Curriculars.
Pimental, who has served as Principal of Peterborough Elementary School for six years, will begin in the position on July 1.
Pimental began his career in education in 1999 as an academic support teacher in New Hampton, later serving as Assistant/Associate Dean of Students. He joined the Jaffrey-Rindge Cooperative School District in 2009, serving as Assistant Principal and Principal at Conant High School, as well as Athletic Director from 2009-2011.
He brings an extensive coaching background to the new position, having coached Varsity and Junior Varsity football and baseball at New Hampton School, as well as youths in the Mount Monadnock Little League, ConVal Cal Ripken Baseball, and the ConVal Soccer Club.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Eastern Nazarene College, and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Plymouth State University.
The District is committed to a robust search for a new Principal for Peterborough Elementary School, and commits to regularly updating the school community on its progress.
