WOBURN — Principal Judy Merra is pleased to share that the Linscott Rumford Elementary School community came together for a multicultural celebration on Tuesday, April 23.
The event planned by the Linscott Rumford faculty book group was a wonderful chance for families from more than 14 countries to share food, music, history, dance and art with the community.
Linscott families with roots from Brazil, Ireland, Italy, Congo, Haiti, India, Albania, France, Philippines, Russia, and more showcased items and delicious food that are significant in their cultures.
“This was a wonderfully fun event and a great showcase of the many cultural backgrounds and family traditions that are held by our students here at Linscott Rumford,” said Principal Merra. “Our students were able to showcase their unique backgrounds and to enjoy learning about each other.”
