Tyngsborough Police Department Increasing Presence at Schools Due to Robo-Call Threats

TYNGSBOROUGH — The Tyngsborough Police Department will have an increased police presence at Tyngsborough schools after three schools received robo-call threats, which police do not believe are credible.

On the morning of Wednesday, April 8, Tyngsborough Police were made aware that several schools in Tyngsborough received robo-call threats to commit violence.

In speaking with other law enforcement leaders, Chief Shaun Woods determined that similar robotic phone call threats have been made to many other schools across the Northeast.

While Police do not believe these threats are credible, Tyngsborough Police treats all threats seriously, and will be increasing police presence at the schools for the day as a precaution.
