MARLBOROUGH — Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School will join fellow vocational culinary programs from the region for the 5th Annual Vocational Slider Challenge on Tuesday, April 7, at the Three Seasons Restaurant at Blackstone Valley Tech.
The highly anticipated event will feature culinary teams from Bristol-Plymouth Tech, Nashoba Valley Tech, and Shawsheen Valley Tech competing from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. alongside Assabet Valley for the championship trophy.
Each school’s culinary team will present its own signature slider, showcasing creativity, technical skill and high-level execution.
The event highlights the talent and dedication of culinary students while providing an opportunity for collaboration and friendly competition.
The Slider Challenge has become an annual event highlighting the strength of Massachusetts’ vocational education programs and their role in preparing students for their futures.
The event is open to the public for $9 per person and reservations are required. Reservations can be made by calling Three Seasons Restaurant at Blackstone Valley Tech at 508-529-7758 ext. 3109.
