GROVELAND — The Groveland Water and Sewer Department shares that, effective March 13, the town will no longer use the Code Red notification system.
All town departments in Groveland will be transitioning to a new alert system in coordination with North Shore Regional 911. The new system provides residents with more control over the types of notifications they wish to receive and how they receive them.
Residents may choose to receive emergency alerts, non-emergency alerts, or both via email, text message, and/or phone call.
Residents who would like to receive alerts from the Water and Sewer Department must select the non-emergency alerts option.
Groveland Water and Sewer also encourages customers to enter their home address when registering to assist the department with localized alerts, such as information on watermain breaks or service interruptions to specific areas of town.
Residents can register for the new alert system here.
For additional questions or concerns, residents can contact the Groveland Water and Sewer Department at 978-556-7220.
