MEDWAY — Medway High School is proud to recognize two students who were recently recognized in the 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for the Massachusetts region.

Junior Kimora Chin was recognized for three different pieces of art. She received a Gold Key for her drawing, “2 People Untitled,” a Silver Key for “In the Clerb We All Fam” and an honorable mention for “Xander.”

With its Gold Key recognition, “2 People Untitled” will advance to the national competition and be considered for national awards and scholarships.

Junior Delia Muller was awarded a Silver Key for her painting, “The Toxicity of Human Touch.”

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, originally established in 1923, is the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. Students in grades 7-12 submit their work across 29 categories of art and writing to be considered.

“We are extremely proud of Kimora and Delia for being selected for awards in this prestigious program,” said fine arts teacher Noelle Jackson. “They are both very deserving of this honor. These awards are a direct result of the hard work and passion they continuously put into their art, and it is wonderful to see them acknowledged for their talent.”

“Congratulations to Kimora and Delia on this incredible accomplishment,” said Principal John Murray. “It is always rewarding to see our students pursuing their passions, and I am proud of Kimora and Delia for putting themselves and their artwork out into the world.”
