METHUEN — Chief Scott McNamara reports that the Methuen Police Department responded to a crash involving three motor vehicles on Thursday night.

On Thursday, Jan. 22, at about 5:13 p.m., Methuen Police were dispatched to 170 Haverhill St. for reports of a multi-vehicle crash.

Police determined that three vehicles, a Toyota, a Lexus, and a Honda, had been involved in a crash at an intersection on Haverhill St., which caused one of the vehicles, the Lexus, to crash into a local business.

No significant injuries were reported.

The Toyota and Lexus sustained significant damage during the crash and were towed from the scene by Sheehan’s Towing.

The Methuen Building Inspector reported that the business was safe for occupancy, but that the doors needed to be temporarily boarded up due to damage.

The crash is under investigation by the Methuen Police Department.
