FARMINGTON– Superintendent Christian Elkington is thrilled to share that two Mt. Blue School District staff members have been recognized for their outstanding work in November 2025.
Kim Judkins has been recognized as Support Staff Person of the Month, and Jessie Gray has been recognized as Professional Staff Person of the Month.
Judkins is a Library Education Technician at W. G. Mallett School. She is seen consistently bringing a positive and uplifting spirit to work every day. According to her peers, Judkins makes a visible impact throughout the school, whether working with students or collaborating with other staff members.
She goes out of her way to make sure the entire school remains connected. One of her recent initiatives was a school-wide book parade that involved every member of the school community. The book-parade allows students and staff to dress up as their favorite book character and walk a short loop through downtown Farmington.
“We are grateful for Kim’s dedication,” said Principal Sarah Brooks. “She strives to make the school a place where literacy and community go hand-in-hand.”
Jessie Gray, School Nurse of Mt. Blue Middle School (MBMS), was also recognized in November for her dedication to students.
As the school nurse, Gray spends her days going above and beyond to make sure that each of the school’s 500 students are happy, healthy, and safe.
School staff noted that Gray’s clear, concise, and professional reports allow for the best possible care of the students.
“Jessie is an indispensable part of the school community,” said MBMS Principal James Black. “Jessie is always ready to assist and handle situations with the grace and care they require.”
“Both of these women are incredible members of our school community who exemplify the vision of Mt. Blue Regional School District,” said Superintendent Elkington. “Each day, these educators provide the support to our students and fellow staff members that allow their school communities to grow in a positive environment. We are pleased to be able to recognize them for their service.”
