Stow Police Department Holds Successful Rolling Stuff-a-Cruiser Food Drive in Partnership with Stow Food Pantry

STOW — Police Chief Michael Sallese is pleased to share that the Stow Police Department held a successful Rolling Stuff-A-Cruiser food drive where officers traveled around town to collect donations for the Stow Food Pantry.

The event took place on Sunday, Dec. 7. Residents were asked to stand at the end of their driveways with donations while officers traveled through town collecting items. There were also designated pick-up locations across town.

Three department vehicles were utilized for pick-ups: one cruiser and two department pickup trucks.

The event was so successful that Stow Police will be making the Rolling Stuff-A-Cruiser an annual tradition.

Residents were encouraged to donate non-perishable items such as crackers, cereal, decaf ground coffee or instant, mayonnaise, and shaped pasta (not spaghetti).

“This was a wonderful event for community members to come together in support of one another, and we are grateful for the generosity of our residents,” said Chief Sallese.
