Easton Police Respond to Serious Motor Vehicle Crash

EASTON — The Easton Police Department responded to a serious crash on Route 138 on Monday morning.

On Monday, Dec. 1, at about 9:40 a.m., Easton Police and Fire responded to a 911 call reporting a crash at the intersection of Foundry Street (Route 106) and Turnpike Street (Route 138).

Upon arrival, officers located four vehicles involved in the collision.

Two operators were transported to Boston Medical Center South in Brockton with apparent minor injuries.

A third operator sustained serious injuries and was transported to Boston Medical Center – South before being transferred to a Boston-area hospital. At this time, no further update on their condition is available.

The area of Foundry and Turnpike streets was closed to traffic for several hours while Easton Police detectives conducted an on-scene investigation.

The crash remains under investigation by the Easton Police Department Detective Division, Massachusetts State Police and the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
