FAIRHAVEN — The Fairhaven Police Department is investigating a stabbing incident that occurred early Thursday morning.
On Thursday, Nov. 20, at about 1:50 a.m., Fairhaven Police responded to a report of man suffering from a stab wound in the parking lot of a hotel at 110 Middle St.
When officers arrived, they found a 31-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening wound to his abdomen. He was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford for treatment of his injury.
Individuals on scene were not cooperative with police during the investigation.
The stabbing remains under investigation, but Fairhaven Police believe this was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
While on scene, officers arrested a separate man on an unrelated warrant.
