Berkley Fire and Rescue Department Announces Road Closures for Halloween on the Common Event on Oct. 24

BERKLEY — Chief Jason Perry reports that the Berkley Fire and Rescue Department will be participating in the Town of Berkley’s Halloween on the Common festivities on Oct. 24.

The Department reminds local motorists that several central thoroughfares will be closed throughout the event.

WHAT: Berkley’s Halloween on the Common celebration

WHEN: From 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24

WHERE: Downtown Berkley

Road closures will be in effect on Friday, Oct. 24, from 4-9 p.m.

The Berkley Fire and Rescue Department and the Berkley Police Department will be closing North Main Street from Locust Street to South Main at Porter Street.

No vehicle traffic will be permitted in the road-closed area.

Multiple public lots will be available for attendee parking. Parking for this event will be on the Common side of Porter and Locust streets ONLY. Additional parking will be available at The BayCoast Bank and Berkley Middle School.

Handicap parking will be located at the Berkley Town Hall. Attendees requiring handicap parking will have to enter and exit via the Porter and South Main Street side of North Main Street.
