LUDLOW — Ludlow Police and Fire would like to invite residents to the departments’ annual open house.
This year’s open house will be held Sunday, Oct. 19, from 1-4 p.m., and will be held rain or shine.
Representatives from the Ludlow Health Department will also be in attendance to present public health and emergency preparedness information.
The event will feature a variety of demonstrations, games, and educational information for community members, including:

- “Sparky” the Fire Dog
- Popcorn and Balloons
- Fire Prevention Jeopardy Game
- Escape Maze Learning Tool
- DCR Forest Fire Staff and “Smokey Bear”
- Jaws of Life Demonstration at 2 p.m.
- Ice/Cold Water Rescue Display
- Tanker Truck Demonstration
- Fire Prevention Information
- The Public Health Department and Emergency Preparedness

- Special Response Team Display
- K9 Demo

- Special Police Program
