TYNGSBOROUGH — Chief Shaun Woods and the Tyngsborough Police Department are inviting the community to come out, touch some emergency vehicles and meet some first responders as police partner with the Tyngsborough Fire Department and Tyngsborough Public Health Department to offer the Tyngsborough Health and Safety Fair.

WHEN:

Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WHERE:

Tyngsborough Elementary School, 205 Westford Road, Tyngsborough, MA

WHAT:

The Tyngsborough Health and Safety Fair is held annually in the late summer to introduce community members to Tyngsborough’s first responders and public health officials, to share information, and to build relationships within the community.

Created in partnership between Tyngsborough Police, Tyngsborough Fire, and Tyngsborough Public Health, the fair offers community members a chance to learn about important topics, to touch police cruisers, fire trucks, and Department of Public Works vehicles, and to meet the first responders and town employees who make Tyngsborough run.

There will be games, food, demonstrations, a blood drive, a bike rodeo, and more on offer in the parking lot of Tyngsborough Elementary School.

“We’re inviting the entire community to come out and visit us, see our equipment, and meet the town employees who work so hard for Tyngsborough,” said Chief Woods. “The Health and Safety Fair is always a lot of fun, and we hope to see a lot of smiling faces.”
