Raynham Police Arrest Taunton Man for Exposing Himself in Restaurant

RAYNHAM — Chief David LaPlante reports that the Raynham Police Department arrested a Taunton man who allegedly exposed himself inside a busy restaurant on Saturday evening.

CHRISTOPHER LLOYD BLAKE, AGE 36, of TAUNTON, was arrested and charged with:

  • Open and Gross Lewdness
  • Disturbing the Peace
  • Resisting Arrest

On Saturday, Sept. 6, at approximately 5:28 p.m., Raynham Police responded to a fast-food restaurant at 365 New State Highway for a report of a male who had exposed himself inside.

The preliminary investigation indicates that BLAKE had been asked to leave several times by employees and had exposed himself near the counter while a family with children was ordering food. The restaurant was busy at the time, including a child’s birthday party. The investigation also showed BLAKE appeared to be highly intoxicated.

Officers attempted to arrest BLAKE. He initially resisted handcuffing before being taken into custody without further incident. He was noncompliant during booking at the police station and exposed himself again in his cell.

BLAKE is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday in Taunton District Court.

These are allegations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
